About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure while ensuring reliable software delivery through automated CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployments, improve system performance, strengthen infrastructure security, and automate operational processes.
You will work on modern cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Linux-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Development
- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate application build, testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
- Improve release frequency with zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines.
- Monitor deployment success rates and optimize delivery workflows.
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Configure highly available and fault-tolerant production environments.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Manage networking, load balancers, DNS, storage, and compute services.
- Ensure infrastructure follows cloud security best practices.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
- Automate environment provisioning across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
- Maintain version-controlled infrastructure repositories.
- Standardize infrastructure deployments across multiple projects.
- Improve deployment consistency through automation.
Containerization & Kubernetes
- Containerize enterprise applications using Docker.
- Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
- Configure Kubernetes namespaces, ingress controllers, secrets, and persistent storage.
- Scale applications using Kubernetes auto-scaling features.
- Monitor container health and cluster performance.
Linux & System Administration
- Administer Linux servers in production environments.
- Configure web servers, application servers, and system services.
- Manage shell scripting for automation tasks.
- Perform server hardening and security updates.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
Monitoring & Logging
- Implement centralized monitoring solutions.
- Configure dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Manage ELK Stack or OpenSearch for log aggregation.
- Create automated alerts for production incidents.
- Analyze system metrics to improve reliability.
DevSecOps & Security
- Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement IAM policies and access controls.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Manage secrets securely using enterprise solutions.
- Support compliance with industry security standards.
Automation & Performance Optimization
- Automate repetitive operational tasks.
