Key Responsibilities
- Monitor systems, networks, and applications for suspicious activity and security incidents.
- Investigate security alerts generated by SIEM and other monitoring tools.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
- Identify potential security risks and recommend suitable controls.
- Assist with incident response, investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor logs from servers, firewalls, endpoints, and network devices.
- Support implementation of security policies and access controls.
- Conduct periodic security checks and compliance reviews.
- Analyze malware, phishing attempts, suspicious emails, and abnormal user activity.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining security tools and technologies.
- Work with IT and infrastructure teams to resolve security vulnerabilities.
- Support patch management and security hardening initiatives.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain security documentation.
- Participate in security audits and risk assessment activities.
