Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Functional Consultant (Domain Expert) with extensive expertise in enterprise finance, ERP financial systems, budgeting, accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and governance. The ideal candidate will lead finance transformation initiatives, provide functional consulting, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize enterprise financial management processes.
This role requires a strong understanding of financial operations, ERP implementations, internal controls, public sector finance, audit compliance, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Governance
- Provide functional leadership for enterprise financial management systems.
- Review financial processes, workflows, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Recommend improvements to budgeting, accounting, treasury, and reporting processes.
- Evaluate financial controls and governance frameworks.
ERP Functional Consulting
- Lead finance-related ERP and EPM implementation initiatives.
- Analyze business requirements and design functional solutions.
- Review functional specifications and process documentation.
- Collaborate with implementation and technical teams.
- Support finance digital transformation programs.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Support annual budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Review forecasting models and expenditure management.
- Monitor financial performance and reporting accuracy.
- Improve budget allocation and financial control processes.
- Support treasury and cash flow management.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Review Segregation of Duties (SoD) and approval workflows.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Strengthen internal financial controls.
Risk Management
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for ERP finance implementations.
- Assess financial risks associated with business process changes.
- Review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production readiness.
- Improve governance and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with finance teams, auditors, project managers, and business leaders.
- Conduct workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Mentor finance users and functional consultants.
- Support change management initiatives.
- Promote best practices across finance operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- 10–12+ years of experience in finance consulting, ERP Finance, budgeting, treasury, or financial management.
- Experience working on large ERP or Enterprise Financial Management projects.
- Strong knowledge of financial governance and accounting principles.
