Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS Developer (FinOps) with 8–10 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-native applications and FinOps solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS services, serverless architectures, Python development, Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cost optimization strategies.
The candidate should be capable of working independently, driving technical solutions, and collaborating with cloud architects, FinOps teams, and stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Cloud Development
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda and related AWS services.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Implement event-driven architectures and microservices.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
- Automate AWS resource provisioning and deployment processes.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure scalability, security, and governance.
FinOps & Cloud Cost Optimization
- Analyze cloud spending and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Build automation solutions for cloud cost monitoring and reporting.
- Collaborate with FinOps teams to improve cloud financial management.
- Implement tagging strategies, budgeting, and cost allocation frameworks.
Data Engineering & ETL
- Design and develop ETL pipelines using AWS Glue.
- Process and transform large datasets efficiently.
- Integrate data pipelines with cloud-native services and analytics platforms.
Container & Application Deployment
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS.
- Optimize container workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Front-End Development
- Develop and maintain dashboards and user interfaces using React.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and cloud services.
- Ensure responsive and user-friendly application experiences.
Security & Governance
- Follow AWS security best practices.
- Implement IAM roles, policies, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with organizational cloud governance standards.
